So much to share with you!!!!
• Friday night, 6:30 p.m., (happy hour at 6 pm). Kabbalat Shabbat services at Congregation Beth Shalom. Cantor Elisa will be giving a drash on Jewish music.
• Friday night, 6:00 p.m., Kristol Center for Jewish Life: Hillel at University of Delaware. I will be giving the drash on Post Mardi Gras Wrap Up: Lent and the Power of 40 in the Jewish Faith – bridging the Jewish-Christian Divide or Why Fish Can Bring Us Together. After services, I will be hosting the Shabbat dinner on behalf of Congregation Beth Shalom. We would especially like families with college bound high school sophomores, juniors and seniors to be our guest, along with CBS UD students and their families. RSVP dinner only at 302-453-0479.
• Saturday, 9:30 a.m. CBS Shabbat services. My drash will be: Parshat Tetzaveh & Erev Purim: Masks and Costumes
• Saturday night, 6:30 p.m. Interactive Family-Friendly Megillah Reading. Bring your favorite musical instrument as a grogger. Come in costume as there will be a contest with memorable judges, and there will be prizes! (and alcoholic concoctions for the adults for small fee). Hamentaschen galore!!
• Sunday morning, 9 a.m. PURIM!! Hebrew School meets at AKSE for studies and Purim carnival. CBS Morning Minyan. Snack. FULL MEGILLAH READING. 3rd Annual Alan Schoenberg Memorial Joke-a-than Purim Seudah. Bring a joke and the deli lunch is on us!
